Biography
I am a cartoonist in San Antonio, Texas. I contribute to the San Antonio Express-News on a regular basis, and draw for King Features/North America Syndicate, which distributes my work throughout the country. I worked full-time at the Express-News from 1981 until the spring of 2009. My career began at The Daily Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina. Upon graduation in 1976 with a degree in studio art, I began drawing for my hometown paper, The Chapel Hill Newspaper (yes, that was its name.) My work has been reprinted in the New York times, USA Today, Newsweek and numerous other publications. I am a member and former officer of the Association of Editorial Cartoonists, and hosted the 2009 AAEC annual convention in San Antonio. Two collections of my work have been published, "Out on a Limb," and "Would You Buy a Used Cartoon From This Man?"
